PM Reminds Europe to Reconsider War and Peace Again

Brussels: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, has stated that he does not believe that war or the threat of war can bring peace.

He said this at a meeting to commemorate the 45th anniversary of ASEAN-EU relations in Brussels on December 14, 2022.

"I never believed that we could achieve peace through war or the threat of war," he said.

He reiterated the dialogue, and consultation as a common way to find a solution.

The original Latin of the expression "if you want peace, prepare for war" comes from the book "Epitoma Rei Militaris," by the Roman general Vegetius (whose full name was Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus). And this is the word that Europe likes to use and practice.
